Kaas - The Plateau of Flowers - part 4

Kaas Plateau : The Gallery

What to see in Kaas Plateau:
I have never counted the number of species on Kaas Plateau, but there are so many of them that one has to visit in the month of August when they bloom, and the flowers are different in August, September and in the beginning of October, so for all those lucky people of Satara, they can visit Kaas every week to see the change and enjoy. I have yet to shoot the "Y-tura" - one of the most beautiful Y shaped flower known as the Satara Aponogeton (botanical name - Aponogeton satarensis) flowering between June and August.
This flower is found only in Kaas - Satara hence the name Satara Aponogeton.
